★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beeny loves going to Playful Paws; she goes to Wednesday day care but has also stayed overnight on occasion. Sophie and Linda are relaxed and sensible and easy to deal with; they obviously know dogs and PP is run very well. I am very fussy about where Beeny stays but I have no reservations whatsoever leaving her here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was so worried about putting Dante in kennels as previous dogs have come back anxious and underweight from other places.
I should never have worried Sophie and Linda have obviously taken great care of our Dane X mastiff.
Dante was relaxed clean, happy and healthy.
We absolutely loved the FB photo updates. How cool for him to socialise and play in such a great space. Already booked in for next year.
Great communication about how he was getting in for his 3 week stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were so delighted to find Playful Paws for our friendly Burmese cat. He actually enjoyed the company of the other cats in the Backpackers and we feel he was very well looked after by Sophie and Linda, and have booked a future visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a kennel that was close to the start of our road trip and this place was in the perfect location. We had clear communication from the start and felt our dog would be left in good hands. We loved the personal text mid stay and the photos on Facebook was a lovely check in. We felt there was a welcoming, warm vibe and the dogs were really cared for. We particularly loved the space available for the dogs to run and play in. When we picked our dog up he was comfortable, happy and tired from a week of play! Thanks Playful Paws we will definitely use you again and appreciate you working over the Christmas break :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scarlett absolutely loves doggo daycare at Playful Paws. I think she prefers daycare to home, she’s always so excited when we make the turn off to Turua! Sophie and the team are just lovely to work with and the photo updates are so great. You can tell it’s a place created by animal lovers and we feel so lucky to have it as an option to wear out our very energetic pup! We’ve also boarded a couple of times and absolutely recommend.
