Pohutukawa Kidz is a community focussed childcare centre with a passion for working with families to develop confident, happy, kind children. We are based in Beachlands, provides a safe enjoyable space for children to explore, with ample features to extend their various interests and grow their learning. All the children in our preschool are precious to us, and it is our passion to bring out the best in each one.

They are always very welcoming and they pay so much attention to what the babies like and don't like. I love the detailed debrief I get at pick up time. Thank you Mari and Kelly!

He comes home everyday in a very good mood and enjoys all the fun and stimulating exercises that they do with the children. The staff are so friendly and professional and they do truly build meaningful relationships with the kids. My son is very comfortable with all the staff.

A very huge area designed for over 2s as their classrooms, beautifully decorated with modern educational toys and tools, it has nature corner, family corner, art and craft, blocks and so on
Under 2s are in another side of the building, a good sleeping room and lots of space for under 2s to play and get busy!
There’s a nice, newly built outside play area with sandpit, slides and ramps which is endless fun for Tamariki.
Overall the center is newly renovated, very bright and with good air condition system.
About the staff:
Seema, the center manager, she is very warm and friendly with every single person step inside the center..
And also She is very supportive and helpful when you go to her and ask for a piece of advice…
