★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed 2 nights here and what an amazing place to stay. If your doing the Doubtful Sound trip, this is the perfect location, the boats only a short 8 minute walk away.
Facilities were clean and tidy, kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment. Showers nice and hot, just perfect after a day in the sounds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wholesome local campsite and backpackers. Comfy bunks, toasty warm with the heater and clean kitchen and bathroom facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend the nearby pub The Church for a pint & dinner! We loved our time in Manapouri.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent 2 nights here in a campervan. Great facilities, incredible retro vibe, immaculately clean, super friendly staff. Only down side were the showers, pressure not great, but mainly they were too low for my height, I’m tall, 191cm, the shower heads were at my nose level. But no drama, love this place and would return any time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really cool place to visit. There are some awesome walks through the birch forests and along the coast of the lake. Good to swim (cold though) and not too many sandflies. The park is thoughfully designed to allow to larger vans but isnt a sparse and desolate carpark, that most holiday end up end up as. The facilities are very clean, the kitchen has plenty of equiptment and fridge space. There is a shared games room, and the showers are hot and free. I reccomend this as a must see on the road to Milford.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Older style camping ground very clean and well maintained. Right beside the lake can just walk straight from camp to Bush walk around lake edge. Liked the art work around camp. Showers good pressure small changing space with lots of hooks and seat and slatted matt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quaint and cute, this lodge has character. Manager is friendly and warm, all the facilities are good. Showers albeit very small and the toilets a bit of a walk if you need to go urgently. I loved the warm and cozy lounge room! Will stay again when it’s not so crowded. Loved the beautiful flowers all over.
