★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you Rob for your hospitality and making our second stay memorable. The guest house has a special place in our lives as we spent part of our honeymoon here 43 years ago. Yes it has changes a lot but then so have we. It still has that sense of history about it. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to discover the area, especially Doubtful Sound. Departure pier is only five minutes walk away. The house has great history, about one hundred years old. Lovely furniture and great, friendly hosts. Thanks to Philippa and Rob. Our Room had lake view and was spacious. Breakfast with fresh fruits, cereals and yoghurt, croissant and toast. Eggs any stile made fresh by Philippa. The Church Restaurant is 2 minutes walk, and the Manapouri Lakeview Cafe and Bar 15 min. Both recommended. See my other reviews. In case it's cold, you have a heater in your room, and even the bed is heatable.
