Precision Watch Co Ltd is a proud team of watch and clock experts based in New Lynn, just west of Auckland. Our watch service reputation is well established in the industry because we have provided specialist expertise for many years, to many customers.
Who we are
Precision Watch Co Ltd has been a family run business since 1942 and celebrating 70 years as of 2012. We have five tradesmen currently employed from Switzerland and other European nations with great history in watch making, watch repairs and clock repairs. Our extensive skill sets, knowledge and experience set us apart from other clock and watch repair businesses. We specialise in antique watches and clocks in Auckland and around New Zealand.
What we offer
Precision Watch Co Ltd has a range of services available for watches and clocks. No job is too big or too small for us, as we have contracts nationwide for maintaining government clocks, post office clocks, town hall clocks and tower clocks. If there are parts which are unavailable, we often have the capability of producing them in our engineering workshop. We can replace watch batteries, watch straps, broken watch glass. So give us a call for a quote or advise on your watch or clock repair job today.

I needed a couple links for a Nixon which I couldn’t source anywhere in nz
Precision watch said the could get them in but would take time and cost more than leaving it with them for a day and they would make and identical to fit
And that’s exactly what they did
Fast efficient and masters of their trade
Price was outstandingly good
Can’t recommend them enough

I managed to rupture my achilles on my way to collect the watch and when I called to tell them I was immobile THEY PERSONALLY DROPPED IT OFF AT NO EXTRA COST! You can't get better service than that, highly recommended retailer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just want to thank the team at Precision Watches for the fabulous job they have done restoring my Grandparent's clock to full working order. After both my Parents died within 5 months of each other last year, one of the items I decided to keep was a mantel clock that belonged to my Mum's Parents. Long story short, due to Covid Lockdowns, it took the best part of 10 months for the work to be completed and it wasn't cheap, but I'm so pleased that I went through with it. It has proven to be a great investment and I now have something to pass on to other members of the family in the years to come. Its also hugely comforting to once again hear the chimes of a clock I grew up with. Thanks to Wayne and the team, much appreciated! ??
