★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet little spot to stop on the edge of flaxmill bay. As the location implies there are public toilets in the trees with some parking but there is also a neat little spot with a bench around the corner that you can sit for snack overlooking the bay. The beach itself isn't very long but, like all the beaches around the area, it is extremely nice. There are some other benches in the area but there seems to have been a recent problem with erosion as sandbags on the beach and parts of the roadside cordoned off when we stopped here.
