★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing views at the top of the cliff, and the walk from the road is fantastic, giving panoramic views of the bay from different angles as you get higher and higher. Quite a few stairs, but not a huge amount. Definitely worth the walk!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful views towards Whitianga, Ferry Landing, Mercury Islands, Lonely Bay and Cooks Beach. Can drive up (5 min) along narrow & steep gravel road to a small parking area (only space for maybe 4-5 cars). A short path leads to the lookouts. Toilet available near parking area. Walking trails to Lonely Bay & Cooks Beach, but not sure how long it takes as no maps, just signposts. History/information signs at the lookout quite interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breath taking views of Lonely Bay and surrounding islands. You can either drive your car to the look out or a brisk 20 - 25 minute walk from the main road. Definitely worth it.

Previous reviews said road was sketchy so we opted to walk. Trail criss-crosses road a few times and was a nice walk but the road is fine. Not too narrow, well graded, and I counted four different allocated parking “lots”. Wouldn’t take a massive RV up the hill but anything smaller will be fine.
Drove back for sunrise and was pleased to find the gate at the bottom open. Not sure if they ever close it as I couldn’t find anything online...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A superb view is to be had and this place should be better sign-posted so that people don't miss this. There is a lovely big platform at the end from where the scenic panorama can be enjoyed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well worth the drive out here. If you have never been to this lookout, your missing out. It's a gravel track / road ro the top with vehicle access as well. Once at the top its a 2 min walk to the lookout with breathtaking views of the surrounding area! Check out my pics to see what I'm referring to. There are two Carparks here. With adequate space, however during peak hours during the weekend I would imagine this can get a bit packed.
