Matsu is a very clever chef and the food was endless, creative and organic and just superb! Highly recommend a stay at this great lodge . Thank you so much we will be back very soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow...what an experience! This is a weekend we will remember and one to go down in the books as "We've got to do it again...".
We met amazing people and had the most relaxing time ever. The kids thought they were in paradise as they were surrounded by outdoor activities and forgot all about TV's and IPods. My son was sold when he caught a Rainbow Trout metres away from our deck an hour after arrival. My husband being a keen Trout fisherman thought even though the water levels were low quite a few Trout were spotted. It will be excellent Fly fishing when water levels rise. I even had a hand of golf for the first time and loved it.
You have so many options here, if you want freedom..you’ve got it. If you want company…you most definitely have great company. And if you want peace…this is the place!

Has such as peaceful outlook, great views from the bedroom, close to everything, great hospitality, breakfast is always fantastic cooked fresh each morning to your time. We love this place we are from the Gold Coast and whenever we travel to New Zealand this is a must for us we have stayed here 4 times and will continue to stay there whenever we travel over there. Close to wineries, close to town centre so much to see around the area. Mutsuo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the best time during our stay. The lodge was big enough for our family. Beautiful house surrounded by gardens, outdoor area, great walks down to river. Plenty of space for children & teenagers. Kitchen well stocked with equipment, crockery etc. Bedrooms spacious with spa baths in 4 of 5 bedrooms.
