★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small tuck away nail salon, been there 30 years, Tracey is the 3rd owner of purr-fect nails, took over October 2016. Excellent customer service, creative nail art available, quality gel polish and equipment from OPI. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was earlier in the year when I visited. Good nails but... I couldn't continue to support Tracey's business after the way she made me feel during multiple appointments (as I continued to give her a chance and wanted to support a locally owned small business & talent).
She expressed very strong views on COVID and the COVID vaccine (That is fine I am open to others opinion). She had talked about her health to which I was and am sympathetic. But the minute I expressed a slither of hesitancy around the COVID vax as I simply didn't know much about it, I felt most unwelcome and uncomfortable with Tracey.
As I mentioned, I did continue to spend my money here but felt increasingly uncomfortable and not appreciated as a customer. She was happy to take my money but beyond this she didn't seem to care for me as a fellow human. It's not good enough. You are providing a service of more than just painting nails... and people always remember how you make them feel!
In short - take your business elsewhere, plenty of other talented nail artists in Wellington region who are capable of conversation outside of all the COVID carry on, and importantly who will make you FEEL appreciated on a human to human level.
