★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife has begun working on a Highland wall hanging made from a large number of plaids she has had since her dancing career stopped using them as part of the uniform. We needed to find some specialized equipment. We went to Rangiora, and we found it straight away, just off the main street. The ladies there had everything we were looking for and much more. They freely offered quite expert advice, in a friendly, helpful way, signed us up to the loyalty programme and supplied all of the things we needed at reasonable prices which compared well with the on- line prices, and were better, as we didn't have to add on transport charges. If you're into material crafts, I would recommend that you go to Quilters' Quarters at 143 Percival Street in Rangiora. Look them up online, or take your mask and go in person. They are able to deal with us one to one.
The main thing I liked about this store, was that the lady we worked with was obviously very knowledgeable and skilled in the quilters craft, so she wasn't guessing about what we needed, and the type of gear we should get. She was also not pushing the most expensive, just the most appropriate and useful at my wife's skill level.
Recommended.
