★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spotlight! Another disappointing visit! Vip night was 30% off anything not already on sale... nearly everything was on sale! Last weekend I went to get a value pack of wool, I know there was some there, but none of the staff went out back to get it for me. I went home and ordered it on line. What a wasted trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in today to use a 40 dollar coupon, had horrible service- very rude and indifferent staff doing the fabric cutting. We were overcharged by Nicki on 3 metres of clearance fabric that was marked as $6 per metre not $12. Paid 80.55 dollars in total which should've actually been around 62.
Then came back to get a refund where the lady rudely told my mum that she wasn't allowed to use the coupon on a clearance item and that she should've read the terms and conditions- which her teammate Nicki didn't even know about either but at least she apologized for her mistake and overpricing us! In contrast the other ladies didn't even give us a refund because they told us that they would only refund us back $6 because of the coupon or something like that (very unclear and indifferent communication much like their receipts, that had no original price listing or coupon and sale labelling for the discounts!) Got the feeling that they also couldn't understand their receipts and discounts on them properly either ?
We'll see if we can get the actual refund of 18 dollars, but will not shop there again for that patronizing and arrogant service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great store just very sensory overwhelming (bright lights, layout feels like I'm lost in a labyrinth lol). Really appreciate that they do late nights now, makes it so much easier to pop in when it suits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like this store. There are lots of good fabrics here. Lots of good housewares also. Nice staff and the store is not too busy. Parking can be ugly on busy days because it is a shared parking lot with another business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed a seat in the middle of shopping cos of my MS. I was wonderfully looked after by the staff who instantly got me a chair.
There was also a chair right outside the exit which was perfect too.
As a disabled person I really appreciate theses things.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you have to have someone showing people where the door is you may need to rethink your store layout. If there is a line you end up waiting to actually be able to leave if you're not buying anything. Doesn't help when their self-serve machines are off (seems to be frequently).
Typical craft stuff. Prices are OK if on special, otherwise most of what they sell can be found in other (cheaper) stores, or even cheaper online.
