★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't let Tom tattoo you. Very awkward trying to tell him how i wanted my first tattoo done. Seemed Tom was annoyed. Was charged an extra $50 for the time to talk and make sure design was right. Tattoo basically completely fell out within 2 months. Would not go back here. Had tattoo completley redone 3 months later elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solid tattoo shop in Raglan. I was visiting from the US and dropped in to see their work. Vincent, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming, and he connected me with Kaya after I saw a flash of Kaya's that I really liked. Kaya was able to get me in the next day, and then did solid work on the tattoo. Great dudes and quality work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a tattoo for 10am. Had to wait because they didn’t have the “equipment” not a local so travelled from up north. No communication was given to me that ild be waiting or to make the appointment at a later time.. Told me to come back at 11, and still waited until 12:40 to start. Very unprofessional. Didn’t feel taken seriously as a customer. Very casual here. Not professional. Tattoo artist even got frustrated at me by his mistake of not listening to how I wanted the tattoo laid out. And tattoo is already fading big time, under a month later. Overall bad experience. Coming from many tattoo parlours and having lots of work done I Will never recommend this tattoo parlour to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked Vince for a Kiwi feather with a flower pendent. The day of the appointment I had to wait a good 40min because the tattoo wasn't ready. The result of the tattoo is, the flower pendent is 4 times the size that I asked for and the feather is clearly not the Kiwi feather I asked for too. The colors are wrong and there is smears of color on the side. Seems like the job as been rushed and not given the time to make it as I asked. A week later, I had a touch up at appointing time. Arrived there, Vince wasn't free anymore and rebook for the afternoon without any prior notice. Pretty sure he went surfing. I have tattoo work done in the past and I really didn't appreciate the unprofessionalism. Not recommended

Vince and the crew at Raglan Tattoo made me feel so comfortable, my whole experience was relaxing and fun. Vince's many years experience was noticeable and his advice was excellent. If I get another Tattoo it will be from here.
