About Railside Auto Centre
When the current owners took over Railside Auto Centre in September 2018 the business looked a lot different to the operation it is today.
Back then, only a fraction of the services that are now available were on offer.
Mostly, the former Railside Auto was only doing minor repairs, but the change meant a repaint, complete retooling of the workshop and the addition of the panel and paint workshop.
Today the business has an all-up register of six available staff members capable of doing everything from complete engine rebuilds, refurbishing classic cars to general Warrant of Fitness work.
As was previously, the business did not have fully trained mechanics, now they have.
Specialised requirement welding for plastics and MAG welding (metal active gas) are also now available in a business, which over the past 18 months, has been completely upgraded and renewed.
When it comes to panel and paint issues, no job is too big or too small.
Railside Auto Centre handles full smash repairs, small scratch repairs and all types of rust repair.

I bought a Grabone voucher for a service here, and made an appointment for 3pm but sat waiting for more than half an hour before they even touched my car while people wandered about outside apparently doing nothing. Service itself took a little over an hour but I did not receive any documentation whatsoever showing what had been done/used.
Terrible communication, bad customer service, and all round didn't seem like many of them knew what they were doing. I guess you get what you pay for!
