โ โ โ โ โ Thanks Fiona and Heather for making our stay so wonderful. The rooms are spotless, the cleanest ive ever stayed in. Location was perfect with a short walk down stairs to a stunning beach and bird life amazing, including local kaka flying in to be feed by hand.

โ โ โ โ โ Good spot for a family. Easy beach access and good service. We were picked up and dropped off at the ferry and when we needed a drop at the trail head for our multinighter the staff helped out! Clean and spacious, the property is a bit dated but very welcoming and everything you need for sleep and relaxation as most of your time will likely be outside exploring the amazing island! Having a car provided helped with mobility and allowed for greater freedom to explore. Way cheaper than a hotel and a rent a car! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. If getting picked up when coming off the trail pre arrange your pick up or have another plan. It gets really busy mid afternoon with the ferry and checking etc and so you need to make your own arrangements or there will be a couple of extra kms at the end! But once you get back..the hot shower and good beds wipe the trail away! Highly recommend it to visitors of Stewart Island my family of 5 loved it.

โ โ โ โ โ Loved this motel (first motel on the Island), more like a crib. Fabulous having the car included! And Heath and Fiona certainly make it even more fab, wonderful hosts....thankyou. Old but v clean.

โ โ โ โ โ This place would have to be the best hotel/motel we have stayed at and all our travel so far. The room is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay and even comes with a car to tour the island. I particularly liked the games table that the room had. The kids enjoyed playing cards and I just thought it was a very nice touch. The car isnโt flash but itโs perfect for what you need to get around and see all the local sites. The hosts were particularly attentive to all of our needs and extremely friendly. We would definitely stay here again highly recommended

โ โ โ โ โ Spotted the Kiwis only up the road from my room!! We stayed in the two-bedroom unit it was clean and spacious for our group of 4. It had a great view of the bay in the front and a backdrop of ferns in the back of the room. The toilet, shower, kitchen, and bedrooms were very cleaned. Our stay was peaceful and we were very happy with our stay. We would definitely go back and recommend this place to our friends and family. Thank you!
