★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed this place. Value for money is really good and the place is quite authentic. A bit off the beaten track but still a lot of customers, so on weekends you maybe have to wait a bit.

The interior could do with a bit of renovation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They don’t allow you to share dishes. Tonkatsu ramen was pretty bland. Chasiu was bland. Gyoza was average, oily. Food came quickly. The waitress refused to give you a small bowl saying they don’t have enough. First encounter with such an eatery. Not coming back for sure. Most customers are Chinese.

Lots of fresh seafood plus Takoyaki for $25? and huge portion! I ate them all for my lunch and not feel hungry at all for dinner?Highly recommend?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to go there a lot for dinner as its close to my first workplace after uni and often ordered my favorite combo: Tonkotsu shoyu ramen plus curry rice. Love the counter seat and interaction with the chef.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. A cosy and welcoming little place, the folks at Ramen Daikoku know good ramen, which means having quality broth is essential. The flavour in their Tonkotsu is fantastic and the price is very reasonable. If you want something with a bit of spice, their Spicy Pork Belly Ramen is to die for.
