β β β β β Agree with other reviews about the staff, dark haired lady in there who seemed in charge was very rude and not very charitable at all, hostile atmosphere and will avoid this shop like the plague and take my donations elsewhere

β β β β β I know sometimes charity shops get overfull, but the notice on the door was requesting donations, so I took in a few items, including a large Lego set, costume jewllery - some of which had been expensive, and kitchenware - some completely unused. Staff were rude and certainly acted like I was bothering them by having the cheek to donate items (they did not even glance in the bags). I realise these shops sometimes receive complete rubbish and I'd be happy to have my items checked over before being accepted, but this was pretty disappointing. The Red Cross is a good cause, but bit of common courtesy in the Stoke shop please!
