In the first instance, they had an alternator from one of our customers, for diagnosis, after no communication for over two weeks, we finally got an answer. "sorry, we're not interested in the repair'' Which I understood, as there was a lot of work to be done, and they were swamped, so left it at that and had another company happily carry out the repair. The second time I phoned through to have an exciter stator rewound as a part of a preventative maintenance program, I was rudely and abruptly told, ''we are not interested'' with no explanation. I will not be recommending or taking future work to the ironically named Reliant.
