★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Remembrance Reserve is first and foremost a war memorial to those that served and those that gave their lives during world war one and two from the combined NZ forces (Royal New Zealand Navy, Army, Air Force and Merchant Navy).
There is maybe 10 car parks, and a nice grassy area. There are no toilets. Also I would not describe the parking as wheel chair friendly.
The reserve also leads onto Orewa beach, providing beach access.
