Think you have a great name for a paint colour?
Let us know and you might see it in a future Resene colour chart!
All you need to do is tell us your colour name and, if you have a type of colour you think it would work best on, please include that also... then send to us.
You can submit your suggestions at any time so feel free to come back and submit other ideas as you think of them. The only limit to the colour names you submit is your imagination. When thinking of your colour names, remember we can’t use anyone else’s trademarks and the names need to be something that could be used on a colour chart.
We’ll add colour name suggestions that could be used on one of our colour charts to our master colour name list that we use for name ideas when we’re naming new colours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought a house last year and had old paint tins left by the previous owners. So I took them in for recycling. The young girl was brilliant - the lid had stuck fast as it was so old - but she never gave up. A couple of older staff walked by and said that they can't take them for recycling but the young girl whispered to me - don't worry she'll get it open. Working together - we did open it. It's a necessary process just in case something other than old paint is inside. Because of the young girl's attitude I bought more paint and equipment from them. There is another young girl there too - she gave me advice on how to paint the wooden steps in front our house - it came out completely amazing. I'm grateful to the younger staff at Resene - not sure that I would go there without their excellent service attitude where every customer is important.
