After 12ish years at the same job, found it becoming stale. After applying for one and not being successful. Victoria went out of her way to keep me informed if any jobs that suited to my needs were matched. After coming out of lockdown in September they informed me of a potential job for a new business starting in Chch. As I waited for the interview they kept in touched informing me what's going on.
After a few phone calls between me and my new employer asking how it went was really good, and especially leading up to my interview I was nevervous A day later after my face to face interview, Victoria informed me I was successful!!!
Thank you so much Victoria and Stu. Your service and dedication to help me, for someone that was nervous finding a new job after so many years stuck in one place, was really amazing!! Now I can look forward to my new job and start something new and be home more often for my family

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never previously used any type of aid when finding and applying for employment, however this time around I was suggested to look at retail world. They had a quality selection of jobs on their website and I applied for two of them. I was then contacted by email, by Stuart Armstrong, straight away he was approachable and interested in wanting to help me to find employment. We meet once for Stuart to get to know me a bit better, ask the relevant questions and explain to me how Retail World can best help me. Within a week of this meeting New Zealand went into level 4 lockdown, however the work on Stuart’s end did not stop, he had presented to me the perfect job role and once I’d told him I was keen to apply, just like that I was booked in for a zoom interview with the employer and from there it lead to my second and final zoom interview to then be offered the role. I can’t believe within two weeks of meeting Stuart I had been offered a really great role which I have accepted. At no time was Stuart pushy or demanding, he was understanding, enthusiastic, has a high communication standard, and he’s genuinely a nice guy whom I felt comfortable with I can’t recommend Retail World enough and I can thank Stuart enough for helping me to be employed.

I was phoned before and after job interviews and when I gained employment there were several follow up calls to ensure I had settled in and was doing well. They both really went over and beyond and would proudly recommend them to anyone

I applied for a position on Seek and shortly after I received a call from Stuart to talk to me more about my CV and skill set for a particular position I had applied for. From here I was lucky enough to secure an interview.
To speed up the recruiting process, I opted to drive to Ranfurly to meet with the client’s area manager. Following this interview, I had barely made it back to Dunedin before I knew they wanted to take me to the next stage.
Throughout this whole process Stuart was extremely supportive and constantly communicating with me.
Today Stuart contacted me to give me the exciting news that I had been made an offer! Thank you, Stuart and the team, at Retailworld in helping me secure a dream role.
