Needed some work done to my rx7 was going to do myself but was struggling to source the parts I needed for the old girl
They managed to get all the parts needed and completed the job and I had it back the next working day
Couldn't ask for more than that
Will definitely be using them again in the future as parts are getting harder to find for these old cars and so are people that know what they are talking about when it comes to old rotary engines

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deeply disappointed at this place. It says on the building, website and facebook page that they can do WOFs. However, this is fraudulent, they take it to another place as they are not certified to provide WOFs, confirmed by the MTA and NZTA. Also, this is not an officially registered Mechanic. Certifications, WOFs and COFs are outsourced. I had to get another mechanic to finish the work and they said the work done by retro automotive was not necessary and in places not done correctly. Bolts missing, headlights not installed correctly and doing extra work that did not need to be done in order to increase the bill price. My advice, take your car to a registered and certified mechanic, not some cowboy and his mates. Considering small claims court.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With corys many years experience in the mazda rotary and classic car industry and the freindly staff at retro automotive i can say with confidence its the one stop shop for all your classic car and rotary needs. cory and the team stripped my engine bay panel beaten and repainted my engine bay and de loomed and sorced all parts and built a 12a peripheral port all with in my stated budget. and cory also kept me in the loop with what was happing every now and then.. 3 years later the car is still going strong 10 out of 10 they also do all my annual maintenance and are as always a pleasure to deal with............

When things go wrong with my vehicles it always feels like a Major but it was nothing for Corys Crew! They said they would sort it and they did quickly, no issues at all. Cheers.

I am glad i gave them a chance i have never been so happy with the work done on my pride and joy, the quality of work was exceptional and cory was a genuine good bloke to deal with.
