I first realized that my blood pressure was slightly higher than it should be In my early forties, right after my 6 weeks of job training which was physically challenging and on my feet for all day in a hot and humid environment.
My GP and I agreed on the “see how it goes” stance as it’s probably from “stress”.
A couple of years went by, and my blood pressure slowly crept up to the level that I had to be on medication in my mid-forties. I wasn’t entirely happy with this medication option but went on as I was working in a management role, stressing out from dealing with my work-home balance.
I didn’t feel that the medication was helping much with regulating the blood pressure, after a while the GP recommended again to increase the amount. I started to look into alternative treatment.
In the meantime, just before the first lockdown in 2020, I had a particularly busy and stressful week. And I suddenly started having a blurred vision on my left eye.
Luckily, I managed to organize a specialist appointment 6-7weeks later when it went down to level 3. And found out that I had a ruptured blood vessel there, and they started injections treatment immediately. They explained that the cause of this condition is commonly the result of high blood pressure, high cholesterol or diabetes. I had only the first one and not the rest. The specialist told me the cause would be “stress”(again), and I have to start the course of injection treatment every 6 weeks for a period of time.
I felt the need to look into treating the cause rather than only symptomatic treatment. And then Liz kindly took on my case.
Liz was very understanding of my situation with her extensive medical background. I felt confident with her choice of the remedy after her thorough consultations. Along with the change of my lifestyle, no doubt, the remedies helped with my conditions. My eye healed “like a textbook” even though I missed out the whole three month of my injection treatments. My blood pressure has started to settle and is not as dangerously high as it used to be, now. Liz is very approachable and great with her follow up. Highly recommended.
