★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love rex and Nikkis! It's our go to fish n chip and Chinese shop, we've tried a lot around Hamilton and nothing compares. Food is always delicious and has so much flavor! The staff are incredibly friendly and always give us a free 1.5l drink with our food. Highly recommend ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm sorry to say we had best experience two years before and I have recommended rex and Nikki to several others, but unfortunately we ordered today but its with so much regret I edit my previous review to say how unsatisfied with the quality of food. There was no taste, unseasoned meat, basically it was tasteless. Please improve the quality as before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No stars for me. Sweet and sour chicken was disgusting, the batter was doughy and the chicken overcooked and the bites were mainly batter.. the sweet and sour sauce had too much sugar.
The battered oysters had too much batter and the batter was too doughy and mushy..
The chips tasted like the oil hadn't been replaced in a few days..
Definitely not going here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought a massive feed for the family tonight. The fish & chips, were huge, crispy and delicious!! Steak & Egg Burgers were yummy, Fish Burger was gorgeous. Chinese food was fresh, flavourful and delicious!! I highly recommend this store if you want great food. Friendly, warm service too, will definitely be back, thank you!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered on New Years Eve, amazing food, great portions and friendly service. The Chicken fried rice has to be best in the area. Our friends raved about their order of sweet and sour with pork and sweet and sour with prawns, that it was so good.. Highly recommend you try them for a takeaway.
