Today we had a dreadful experience with River Radiology Hood Street. My friend was made to wait for 50mins even after we were told no appointment required. She was first with no others in the waiting room.The receptionist staff at times we abrasive, unhelpful and spoke with a lack of courtesy and respect. There was mixed communication and my friend was made to feel intimidated and because she is Fijian felt that the way she was treated was tantamount to making her feel under valued because of her ethnicity. However once in X-ray that person was kind, supportive and very professional. We will never return to River Radiology again in the future and pass that information on to our family doctor.

Excellent communication email and phone, fast polite reception, professional service (MRI), very reasonable fees. Got report in less than 24 hours. Recommended.

Been hear for ultra sound and back for x Ray both times can't fault the service - communication they could tell had anxiety and was good pre precedure on phone and there felt very well at ease. Well done to all

I think River Radiology need to think twice about their customer service. I am a disabled person and can’t wear a mask, I was treated like a leaper, I even have it on my file I can’t wear a mask, I was sent to the back to sit and then when it was finished my MRI I asked to stay sitting at the back until my driver came. I was told that I had to sit outside. I sat on the street, on my way out the door the receptionist said there are people in here who can wear masks after all. wow just wow. How would they like to be treated like that if they have a disability out of their control. So disappointed

I had an mri booked and after me having a clostrophibic episode, the mri team were fantastic. Got it rebooked for the following week, with sedation. They looked after me, even when I started to come around, they did everything possible to help me out. James and the lady (sorry didn't remember her name, I only remember James because it's my hubby's name lol) were outstanding!

Very difficult to find parking. Arrived when there was no-one else. Thought this was great as I was told on the phone that they do not make appointments and work on a first come first served basis. Saw many people arrive after me and get seen to. Ended up waiting for almost an hour before being attended to. Quite concerning that they do not use ANY radio protective measures AT ALL and I was not given a lead gown to wear despite having 3 x diagnostic X-rays of my face.

I went in for an ultrasound all was fine. I wasn't told the price directly although my mother was, I discovered later what they originally said the price was but assumed they were wrong about the price my mother was told since they charged me $30 after I waited at the reception for a few minutes. My mother was then called after not being able to reach me today during my work hours they said "she left without paying" even though I directly I asked the receptionist how much I owe, I understand they made a mistake but telling my mother I "just walked out" I found very rude and dishonest, I wasn't happy with my experience here.
