★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this cafe by the river. Always restaurant looking food and it's delicious. I also buy coffee for takeaway daily there, glad they have loyalty cards, so once in a while I can enjoy free coffee ☕
Both indoor and outdoor seats are available. The toilet is clean which is always a good sign for any cafe.

Excellent range of cabinet food available all day has my seal of approval. Haven't tried the menu items on the board but they looked excellent going past.
Wait staff are friendly, helpful and most professional. A credit to Riverside. A pleasure to be able to have a coffee in lovely surroundings with our small dog. We come here now each time we are in Whangarei for that reason as well as the delicious kai.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partner said surprise him so I ordered us a lovely chicken quinoa salad...And we loved it. Charlie loved people watching. He loved being here with plenty of room to stretch out and not be in the way of anyone. Good coffee too ☕????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the setting and vibe,, very relaxed cafe on riverside. Great to people watch and just enjoy the view, also had a busker playing music at the park. The food was good, i ordered the salt and pepper squid, the batter was a little soft still hence the 4 stars, but overall good ambience and service
