β β β β β This was a lot of fun for me and my daughter we met friends there and camp there for the night really love the river had a beautiful swim in the morning I will definitely be going back very lovely and friendly people

β β β β β A lovely camp in natural peaceful surroundings. The former scout camp has an old style adventure playground. The river has great swimming holes and areas to paddle. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. Not too far from Hampden, Moeraki, Kakanui, and Oamaru.

β β β β β Thank-you Janene and Warren for your hospitality, warmth and friendliness over 8 months from February of this year that I stayed at Riverside Haven Campground.
I needed a 'roof' while I had extended house renovations,and this particular campground wasn't too far from me.
Janene and Warren provided me with a caravan,support,kindness and made my time spent there an absolute delight.
They are incredibly hard workers and spent long hours to maintain a very high standard for their beautiful campground.
It is set in lovely surroundings with a river,lots of land for a dog and children to play.
I was spoilt with many meals...awesome cooks!...and quite a few hot cuppas!
Thank-you again Janene and Warren,you are true gems.

Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in my room. Was in the lodge.

β β β β β A beautiful spot to stop and pause and let the world go by. On the banks of the riverΒ very clean and tidy camp grounds. The owners were very accommodating and friendly.

β β β β β A lovely, peaceful spot, with a good selection of terraced campsites and essential facilities that were clean and well maintained. I was glad of shady trees but the river views and water sounds were lovely. The river with its swimming hole was so tempting for an afternoon's relaxation but there was so much to do in the area I needed more than one day here. The campsite is between Moeraki and Oamaru with nearby All Day Bay and the coastal route to Oamaru making it an interesting centre for exploration. The proprietors were very welcoming and helpful and so were the permanent residents. Thank you for a delightful short stay.

β β β β β Absolutely great place to stay, booked this place for 9 of my family who were going on a fishing trip - facilities were top notch everyone was welcomed and enjoyed the stay, highly recommended. We booked two rooms and were offered a 3rd for the same price was great to be able to support during these tough times. Will be back for sure
