★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a beautiful part of New Zealand history, but closed today for camping as the grounds are to wet for motorhomes which is fare enough as they need to be kept in good condition so we can enjoy our time there. Even though it was closed to vehicles it was still a nice place to walk around and read about the history.
