I had the disappointing experience of having a staff member who clearly needs another job, get somewhat over the top emotional with me when I put 2 empty gas bottles on a table while returning to my vehicle to get a mask. He rushed around his counter and moved them to the ground outside the door. He then proceeded to instruct me on what to do next. He seems to have no knowledge of an issue known as customer service. He certainly believed he was doing me a favour. Guess what - he wasn't. A young upstart clearly in a role beyond his abilities. Retrain or move him away from customers; but I will not be back. There other gas suppliers in Dunedin

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Move to a new place recently, got recommended Rockgas. Applied for subscription and the inspection guy did came to inspect the place one day before we moved in and deemed to be unsafe to deliver.
3 weeks later I have to called them to find out that the inspection guy did came, did not leave a note, did not give me a text, email or a call that they will not deliver the gas bottle and told me to ask other suppliers.
Filed a complaint to Rockgas and never even got a reply. Terrible services, internal processes and most importantly worst communication from any company I've talked to.
Will never recommend Rockgas and will tell people to go with Genesis.
