My name is Rose Haskell and I am a Taranaki-based Celebrant. I pride myself on my energy, enthusiasm for people and fresh approach that makes for engaging, fun ceremonies.
I am super passionate about working with couples and families to develop ceremonies that are both personal and captivating. I pride myself on blurring the line between being a professional and being your friend. It is important to me that your guests see a strong and genuine dynamic between us, and assume that we have known each other for years!
A specialist in all things pertaining to a Marriage Ceremony, I also have a special interest in milestone events such as Commitment Ceremonies, Renewals of Vows and Naming Ceremonies. Right from our first appointment (Rose made us feel like we’d always known her!) through to the very day, Rose made us feel so comforted by her genuine passion, enthusiasm & aroha for what does so does, and she brings that all together with her warm and inviting fun personality. She took care of our entire day, we had nothing that we needed to worry about, in fact, she was that amazing our guest thought she was part of our Whanau ❤️

The words she wrote for our ceremony really resonated with me and my husband and even though we never met before it was like she knew us. My husband and I felt like Rose really captured us as a couple, which made our special day that much more personal. The fact that she did so with just a few days notice makes her that much more impressive. Additionally, as visitors to the country, we were absolutely thrilled that Rose was able to incorporate her Maori heritage into our ceremony. It really contributed to the authenticity of the experience. Afterward, she provided us with a laminated copy of our nuptials to keep, as well as champagne and an array of delicious finger foods -- the woman truly goes above and beyond! I don’t think we could have picked a better celebrant if we wanted to. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Taranaki region!

We had a level 2 COVID wedding in which Rose supported us (mainly me!!). Rose is passionate, kind and down to earth and I couldn't be happier with her service. 10/10 would recommend.

Despite this, we were unprepared for just how wonderful she was. She spent far more time on us than we had anticipated, ensuring every moment created the most wonderful memories. We had not expected that she would make an extra visit to help us select gorgeous music which she played during the service. Nothing was too much trouble.
Our wedding guests, like us, felt privileged to have met such a warm and talented woman. We highly recommend her to anyone planning a special event.
