What can you do to help?
As parents it is important that your child is at school everyday. Your child will bring home a book to read and perhaps a cut-up story that they have written, let them put it together and read it to you. Take time to listen to your child’s reading. Offer praise and encouragement for your child’s efforts. After a few weeks the Reading Recovery teacher will invite you to school to observe a lesson with your child and give some ideas for helpful activities that you and your child can do together at home. Check out the Avondale library for books you can read for free at home. Enjoy your child’s successes and come and talk to us at anytime.

β β β β β It was good school but I don't like it that when we have lost something we reported to the teacher then she said go to the office and office said go back to your teacher and come back, after all they do nothing..and we lost lunch box aging and I reported to the office and oh" I wasn't here last week ask another person " they don't take responsibility of school problems... leave it like no important.. that's not good for future...some kids are racist and bully to my daughter I told the teacher, she said they are like that I will try my best to talk to them,, what's their problem to solve it? Don't understand their ways..
