β β β β β I recently joined this group and I am very pleased with the warm reception I received and the kind, helpful members I met . People showed me around the pottery room and were informative about clay I needed to use for my donkey sculpture that I am planning to create.The studio is well equipped, airy, light and clean and tidy.This year they have lined up an impressive selection of workshops from visiting expert potters. I have studied pottery under George Andrews when at Waiariki Polytechnic twenty years ago so I do know some of the basics. I am looking forward to adding to my skills so that I can further develop this, relaxing, peaceful, at times challenging hobby.
