★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic experience! I went with 3 fussy kids for breakfast and they generously accommodated the changes we made to each meal, with items omitted and sauces etc "on the side". The smoothies and coffee is first class. It was very reasonably priced for the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly the best Cafe in town. Not only that all cakes and muffins are homemade, but also all dishes are prepared fresh and with love. Food tastes fantastic and we have been satisfied customers here every morning for months. The coffee also tastes wonderful and is prepared according to customer requests. The two hosts are also very friendly and available for a chat and are always in a good mood. We love the cafe and are so happy to have found it. It's really a hidden gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing! The food is freshly homemade and really tasty. I can highly recommend absolutely everything there. Especially the fish and chips are hands down the best I have had in Auckland by far. The fish is fresh and not just some defrosted premade shelf product. I have been a regular for quite some time and am happy to have found this hidden gem. It´s just outstanding quality for a reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome little cafe situated on the corner of Gorst lane and Hobson st. Great coffee and friendly service. Pies are also way up there with the best in Auckland (I take my pies very seriously).

They gave me berry couli on fried sliced regular burger buns.
