★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit disappointed with my hokkien mee. Was quite salty and the colour was not quite like hokkien mee. But, lf the lady displayed genuine warmness towards us and our kids, I would still go back and try other item/s on the menu. Unfortunately, her warmness was not genuine, so, sorry not going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The satay starter was pretty good, but the beef was a little too dry. I kept the satay sauce for the noodle later. The garlic roti was very tasty and good to eat with lamb rendang.

$31.xx for two mains which include roti and rice. Plenty of meat and great flavors.
If you ask for hot they will make accordingly. Great service also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of our “go to” curry shops. Always good. Always tasty and almost always full. The family that run the place welcome you with a smile and wholesome food. I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed this place already. Must have been too busy eating. The goat curry is a standard (shown) and everything else is good. Don’t hesitate outside. Open the door and go for it. You won’t be disappointed. All at a reasonable price. (They do Deliver Easy)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The BEST Malaysian restaurant in Wellington. Am so, so happy they are open again after earthquake strengthening work to their building.
Highly recommend everything on the menu! My top favourites are the Mee Goreng, Kung Bo Chicken, Curry Laksa, Chicken Curry and Garlic Roti.
Really lovely owners and staff, just cannot rave enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A big call in Wellington, but Satay Malaysia is definitely the best Malaysian place in town! So glad they are finally open again, they have been sorely missed. Great authentic food, and generous portions. The chicken sambal is ?? and you can't beat their curries and roti. Picture is of the deliciously creamy prawn lemak and crispy garlic roti
