★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a really lovely meal here. Lovely spot and food was amazing. Must try the mussels! Staff and service was great. Excellent little spot. Fitout could do with an update but hey not fussy for a little local. This place is also on uber eats. Only other down comment would be dessert prices at $10.50 although the serving was large you could share easily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here a couple of times with my partner and both times I've been thoroughly impressed. For starters, the atmosphere is quite nice. We have sat both in the outside area and inside. The owners have made two nice areas for enjoying your meal. The staff are extremely friendly and accomodating and the food arrives at the table quicker than most restaurants. The prices are slightly cheaper than other similar restaurants. The one thing I was really impressed with though, is the policy that gluten free pizza is available for no extra charge. I don't have an intolerance, but this just struck me as a very kind thing for the restaurant to do for people who usually have to spend a lot more on food. So if you're gluten intolerant, this is a great place for you to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't come to Scalinis if you want to drink champagne. They have 2 flutes for the whole restaurant.
Also make sure if you don't drink all your byo take it home or it will disappear..lost a full bottle of glenfiddich single malt xx
inadvertently left under a seat. Rang Scalinis within 10 minutes of leaving and it had gone.. food average at best. If you like Fawlty towers head here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When coming to Scalinis I ordered a Pizza and Garlic Bread but was horrified that on arrival and upon consumption of our meal was charged more than initially anticipated upon their website (Prosciutto Pizza (21) + Garlic Bread (L) (12) which apparently equalled $38? Initially, the manager made it seem as if I was getting a discount, but upon quoting website prices was told i was looking at the Samoan website??!! What even!?!? My friend even ordered a vegan pasta and got shrimp, so not sure how that adds up?? The garlic bread we got tasted like cardboard and the prosciutto pizza used supermarket ham and was an utter embarrassment. Could not recommend this place any less. 0.32 /10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was surprised by the overall rating because I went here years ago - great location to get some pizzas and eat them on the beach. Unfortunately two of our pizzas had enough salt for five (this is coming from someone who loves salt!) and one had no salt at all. Very disappointing. It's left me really craving a beer though!
Update: The owner has asked me for which pizzas were salty. It was the Provencal and the Parma. I expected the former to be a little salty given the ingredients but the latter could only have been a lot of added salt. I had one of each, went back for another Parma and couldn't finish it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a group of retired ladies in for dinner. They were great with catering to my Gulten Free lady, we all order something different from the menu and were all super impressed with each of our meals. The Tiramasu was amazing. And the service from our waiter completely made our evening. We'll definitely be back.
