★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I went on a quest to find a special item for myself.As this item hangs from my rear view mirror there were specific criteria to meet.
Despite a blustery Friday, the assistant on duty was most helpful.
I spied a wood carving which caught my attention but alas, it was a coaster and part of a set.
Given this example she set about moving through out the shop to find something similar.Within minutes she took a hand carved item from out of the window and handed it to me.I was stunned...it was perfect....carved from a solid block of Rimu with a kiwi inside 2 hearts...this was SPECTACULAR! I have just gained my NZ citizenship in July 2016 and this beautiful carving symbolised my love of kiwis and bird life in general, also my new home NZ.
I wish to publicly thank Noeline for her attention to detail and excellent customer service.
I highly recommend this shop in Paihia ....visit and see for yourself.
