β β β β β There were fresh vegetables and fruits. The price of the vegetables and fruits were way cheaper than other markets. I was able to get what I needed at Seasons Market. I was very pleased with the shopping I had done.

β β β β β Can be a good place to buy some produce with a small money, but very dodgy calculated high price you may pay if you are a careless with your receipt. Here is my bad experience. I bought a bag of apples, which was already in a bag and sale as a $1.99 tag on a shelf. Also put a couples of NZ oranges in a plastic bag. Only two items. She weigh the bag of orange and applied the same weight to the apple bag. So the price for a apple bag ended up as $5.34 rather than $1.99. I found this things out after payment. She didn't weight the apple bag, cause I was standing there. So requested the receipt after I made a payment. Whole price in the receipt was not what I expected. I am a bit confused by the figures. I went out and found the same bag of apple and re checked the price of apple bag. Yes, it is $1.99 a bag. Very dodgy. Came back to home and weigh them both. Turned out the weight of apple bag is 1.326 kg. I told you she didn't weigh the bag of apple. The weight of orange is exactly 1.070kg. But she put the apple price into the till first as shown in the picture. Finally, I got my money back and she told me that was a mistake. I doubt that. If she made a mistake then she have to weigh the bag of apples, applied the weight of 1.326kg by the scale next to till and the price marked as $6.61674. So this whole experience to me today could be happen by mistake, but just want to head up this matters in here to prevent this not happen again.

β β β β β I'm actually surprised that Google reviews of this shop include Cheap & Fresh! Lol. Cheap fruit & veg WHEN they have specials, otherwise comparable to Pak n Save prices. Quality is so hit & miss - almost like the produce is seconds or something?? Veg does tend to be more reliable than fruit, in terms of quality. I really miss my old Fruit & Veg shop - Seasons Market New Lynn! I was thinking this is another branch because of the same name but the quality level is WAY lower here. Unfortunately this is the closest produce market to our new home, so I only buy from here if I must or there's a good special. PLEASE up your quality! I miss doing my weekly fruit & veg shop! Would love to support you more But quality needs to rise first! Customer service friendly, so I added an extra star :)

β β β β β Kimchi Squid was great but kimchi cabbage was off!
Tasted very strange (like bad wine) on day I bought and 2 days later smelled like rotten eggs. Maybe the store had a bad fridge?
Worst kimchi I have had. I usually get from wang mart or dominion road from kimchi grandmas.
I have eaten kimchi since I was 4yrs old. This was by far the worst.

β β β β β Popped in to get 5kg cherries for $45! Cheap as. They are smaller size but the larger sized ones were $140-150! Lol, there were a handfull of the $45 boxes left
