Seaview Therapeutics - Tītahi Bay
Marion has been a licensed massage therapist for over twenty-five years. Originally from NZ, she did her massage training in Miami, Florida, and then worked at the prestigious Fontainebleau Hilton Hotel Spa on Miami Beach for over four years. After which she lived and worked in Japan for sixteen years, where she studied Japanese therapeutic treatments including beauty therapy and massage. Returning to NZ in 2005, she worked for four years locally at Mana Natural Health & Beauty and That's Better, Holistic Health. She started her own home clinic in Titahi Bay at the beginning of 2015.
Marion has been interested in holistic health since she was a teenager, and likes to travel and study traditional massage and therapeutic treatments in different countries. Every year she travels for a month or so overseas to enjoy learning more.
At the end of 2017, she spent three weeks in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, studying Thai facial and body massage, learning about the local herbs and massage techniques. She was lucky enough at that time to also study with a blind teacher who had worked in a rehabilitation hospital for forty years doing massage. At the end of 2018, she spent a month in Pondicherry, South India. There she learned more about Ayurvedic treatments and oils.
In 2019 she visited Thailand again and did courses on Thai aroma massage and Thai foot massage. She also visited Kuching in Borneo and experienced the local traditional massage there.

Even the pathway up has sound and smell of sea breeze...
