★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Burgers and chicken were great, cool spot but was a bit chilly in the train cabin, this will only be a problem in winter. Long wait, 2 members of our party ordered first (separate bill) they had completed their meal before ours arrived, this is unacceptable, would normally have marked down for this but has only just opened and as mentioned the food was great so don't want to be harsh. Priced about right at $15 for a medium sized burger.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful burgers. Had the ?Mikey. Advertised as a nice simple burger and that’s exactly what you get. But every element is done really well with a nice well cooked patty, perfect delicious buns and fresh salad with a tasty sauce.
The wings and chips were nice too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband loves burgers so we decided to stop by Serial Griller while on a short stopover in New Plymouth. The trolley is adorable and the facilities are clean, there were a few other families there but our food arrived quickly, and the lady at the front was so lovely. Gotta say, my husband grew up in several places and has travelled extensively (42 countries), he had the Asian-style burger that was on special which he said was the best burger he's ever had in his life. I had a vegetarian one that was delicious as well, and tried the miso caramel sundae that was excellent. I wanted to try the spicy peanut sauce sundae too but only had so much stomach room, such a shame. We'd love to visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't miss this place! A beautiful, clean place in an old train car, kind service and a really good burger! There are some tables outside on the grass, and some in the back so also great with kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was pleasantly surprised at the revamped train. My Mickey Burger was the tastiest ever! It had great atmosphere and plenty of seating inside and out. I will be back and take my family as I know my elderly Dad would enjoy it. The menu caters for vegans too. Access is good for anyone with mobility issues having ramps. Well worth a visit.
