★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered thru Uber Eats. Deep Fried Squid, The Duck, Pork + Garlic Chive Dumplings, Chicken Fried Rice and The Pork + Prawn Vermecelli Dish. Everything was delicious. Generous amount of Prawns in the Vermecelli Dish and everything else tasted really good. Didn't get a pic of Duck and Dumplings, family members already digged in? Value for money and good portion sizes for food. Would order again ?

Cons food wasn’t that great, dumplings tasted like they were in the freezer for very long time. My partner ordered wine, tasted like it was either opened for a few days or diluted with water. Disappointing night out, wouldn’t recommend.
To top it off a lot of screaming and yelling from kitchen…..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing! Very well priced and there is something for everyone, whether it be traditional style Chinese food or more kiwi-esque Chinese food. Staff and owner are personable and lovely to chat with. One of my favorite restaurants in Christchurch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered for seafood soup on Ubereat which it clearly mentioned that prawns, mussels and squids in. It has a few prawns and full of cut fish balls. Feel like scammed ??♀️ My partner ordered for pork belly braised for $28 and no rice included either mentioned about no rice and my one also had no rice or noodles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived knowing what we wanted after looking at their online menu only to be told it was 5 years old. The menu in store turned out to be limited. While there we noticed some customers were given a different menu and automatically given chopsticks, while we were just handed forks. Ordered the soup bao and pan fried dumplings, which ended up being quite average. We’ve had better dumplings from the supermarket frozen section. I understand now why this place has never seemed busy.

Accidentally ordered from the old menu, and ordered the wrong thing, but the lovely staff were able to swap it to the right item. It was yummy!
