★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During my one-week visit at Waikato University, I had food here six days in a row. The Shanxi noodle soup is a good value and has many meat choices. Their baozi and meatballs are also my favorite. I tried their spicy food like hot and sour shredded potato and boiled fish (picture attached) which taste great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden pearl next to uni, delicious pork noodles, with tasteful sauce and soft pasta. Owners working all day long, also selling handmade tofu. Place is small and cozy, looks you are eating in their dining room. Dozens of combinations of noodles and ingredients chosen on the spot. Arrived in the lunch time and was quiet and clean, some old ladies were there, giving a good impression of the quality and reputation.
