Xiang Style Restaurant 百味湘 - Hamilton Central
Tried chili chicken, dumplings, smoked pork fried rice. All of the taste ware amazing. Quite often I don’t have luck of dumping at Chinese restaurants but this place makes yummy one! That fried rice was a bit too oily but somked pork tasted very nice. A bit disappointed about chill chicken, a lot of spices and bone but not much meat in there. And all the portions are quite small even the price. So I liked that taste of the foods but not happy with that cost performance.

Please do not order any spicy level above mild unless you are accustomed to hotness!
This food is very authentic and the people are wonderful to interact with.
10/10 will eat again when I got that spicy craving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best Chinese restaurant in Hamilton! Nice spicy food very delicious. The only day I don’t come to eat is Tuesday. Only because they are closed on Tuesday lol! It’s not like Sichuan food which is just spicy, the food of Xiang style is more focused on flavor and taste. Highly recommend!

It was a surprisingly good choice, food was delicious, speciality the fried rice with egg, pork and chives. Great value for the quality. Tea is complimentary and tasty. Closes at 9pm on sundays. Will come back soon.
