β β β β β We walked in at 6:15pm on Tuesday night and found that lots of tables were available. But people started to turn up after 6:30pm and the restaurant was full then. Only 2 staffs looking after the customers and busy walking in and out of the kitchen. Another two staff were cooking in the kitchen. It took some time to take your order and wait for the food.
The chicken soup is yummy.

β β β β β Disappointing and NOT recommending this place. Trying to be fair at a tourist destination so wasnβt expecting much at the first place, but the price was ripping people off, donβt order their drinks as the fact was they made most money from it. Despite the stingy side dishes and food portion, the owner sounds sarcastic and judging based on the food we ordered apparently, which is truly disgusting and disrespectful. Go hire working holiday people somewhere else and hey please value your customer, people come in pay for your food and service, not seeking for a job. Never ever step in your restaurant again.

β β β β β Tasty tteokbokki and tofu dish. Delicious fried chicken. Friendly service. Only negative was the lack of variety of side dishes. Overall a great homely dinner experience. Recommend the Korean Dessert Coffee!

β β β β β Great little Korean restaurant in Wanaka! My partner and I and our friend came here and decided to share food amongst us to enjoy it all. We got Beef Bulgogi, Don Kasu, Dak Galbi, Yum Yum Dak, Saewoo Jogae and of course Kimchi - it was all delicious and freshly made. Monica was phenomenal and always checked up us, making sure everything was good. She had fantastic customer service and we had good yarns with her whilst we had Soju shots (not including her), she is definitely a big part of why this dining experience was fantastic. She even allowed us to stay a little past closing time of 9:30pm so we could finish our soju. Highly recommend!

β β β β β My wife and I had been looking for somewhere to dine on our wedding anniversary, and Shinaburo came highly recommended, and quite rightly too!
We came early and there was plenty of seating available, but the restaurant started to fill out quickly.
We first ordered our drinks, and they were served to us quickly. We had a korean peach schnapps - it was yummy and left a nice glow!
We ordered a couple of Entrees - Yum Yum Dak (chicken nibbles). Goon Mandu (pork dumplings) and some pickled vegetables. All very nice and well presented.
I then ordered the Champong, and my goodness, what an experience! A delicious broth with delectable pieces of pork and fresh seafood, all sitting atop thick noodles. I highly recommend this dish if you can handle a little heat.
My wife ordered a seafood platter, and it looked and smelled good.
Good food, good experience. Recommended.
