★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very quiet place if you need to contemplate your place in the universe. At the moment, there are few flights in and out of Christchurch, so the airport is mostly quiet, which makes it an excellent place to go to enjoy the silence and the lights. The best hours seem to be between 11pm and 4am.
