About Showerman
Established in 1997, we’re proud to be a family owned and operated local business working throughout the Bay of Plenty and Waikato.
We work on large or small projects for:
- developers undertaking apartment blocks or new subdivisions
- builders undertaking new builds or renovations
- landlords and individual homeowners replacing a shower.
We have a factory manufacturing our products and a showroom in Mount Maunganui as well as a team on the road, measuring quoting and installing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We renovated our bathroom nearly a year ago and we engaged Showerman to install glass shower walls around our tiled space. At the time of install their customer service and knowledge was second to none. We have been very impressed with our shower ever since. Nearly a year later the treatment that they put on the glass continues to impress. We have always wiped down the glass after each shower and have looked after it as advised. Just lately we have noted a very small build-up of soap scum developing up to approx 5 cm at the bottom, so with a simple wipe with the cloth that they provided easily removed it - no chemical of any sort has been required at all since installation. As I say, we are totally impressed. This has got to be the best service and product in town. Thanks Showerman.

First attempt ended up with too big of a hole cut for shower mixer (hole looked to be cut freehand not using the supplied template), so had to all be pulled out and done again. 2nd attempt resulted in parts of the liner not stuck securely to the wall & glass frame not centred on tray.
No-one (including boss/business owner?) interested in making it right ("that's just what they look like").
Just avoid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Built a house, plans showed a glass panel on either side of door. We have a double shower, so you would think to have the door in the middle so either person can get out the shower while the other one is still having a shower. Instead of the door on one side. I should have maybe double checked before installation, but trusted the plans, so I emailed Tony with photos to ask what our options are. He ignored my email. I followed up a week later and he said he'll get back to me. It's been a month with no response. I'm now off to a different company to have a new shower door installed. No service what so ever from these guys.

The down side was we had to wait 3 months to get the job done, but once the shower installer 'Brendon' started the job he was polite, organised, clean, tidy, excellent to deal with and his work was immaculate. I would highly recommend Brendon, 100 percent.
