Adrienne my business partner and I have been using the tile Depot for nearly 6 years now. The service we have received has been second to none. Their professionalism and ability to help us quickly pull together tile selections for clients is invaluable. The selection of tiles that they carry has something for everyone. It is a pleasure to deal with a New Zealand family business that truly puts its customers first and perhaps the thing I love most is the coffee I get in a sunflower mug.

Invaluable guidance and "insider knowledge". All questions answered before I asked. Better than a youtube DIY video. Good prices and wide range of products from what I can see. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have used Tile Depot Tauranga for our shower walls/floor, laundry & bathroom floor tiles & downstairs kitchen backsplash. Recently we purchased 12 mesh mosaic sheets (29cmx33cm) for our bathroom backsplash however when seen it situ realised they simply didn’t work. When returning we were informed we would be charged a 20% handling fee. When I must have looked shocked we were told “but at least you CAN return them”. Working in retail I asked why they don’t inform customers of this charge when they are making the purchase & was delivered a defensive & slightly condescending spiel about the terms & conditions being supplied as a separate page with the emailed invoice etc etc. I stated I can’t be the first person to be shocked or taken aback when being informed of the charge & was told no. So why not then - in the interest of good service - just tell the customer when they are making payment that IF they chose to return there will be a charge? That way they might consider their options a little more prior & EXPECT the charge should they change their mind? So their last experience with the store isn’t one of feeling ripped off & in turn ruins whatever good experiences they might have had in store prior? Congrats - you got my $70ish dollars but I won’t be using your services for any of the future rooms in this renovation or the next. In addition I went straight down the road & selected alternate splashback tiles & was informed (without prompting) of the handling fee prior to them processing my payment.
