About Silvermoon Glenfield
As much as a story about jewellery, it has also been a story about family and relationships. Our jewellery journey began over 60 years ago with expertise and knowledge passed down generations. Peter and Wendy’s introduction into jewellery started at a young age, some of Wendy’s earliest memories rummaging through her mother’s jewellery box in awe of all the previous gemstone pieces that had been passed down to her over generations. Each piece representing a milestone, the feeling of significance that was fostered from sentiment, the true mark of an heirloom that carries meaning. From this was born a passion that has remained consistent throughout her life. Wendy and Peter met during high school and what began as an after school job to help a family business has now evolved into Silvermoon company. As husband and wife, Peter's entrepreneurial spirit and Wendy’s eye for design represent two facets of a single passion for creating our Silvermoon brand.

Good Service, but EXORBITANTLY overpriced! Dubious Valuation Certificates. I purchased a .51 Carat white gold engagement ring for 3600 Valuation was 4800 they said they were giving me a $ 1200 discount. I fount out later that in fact the ring was worth NO MORE than $1200!
I went to a recognized jewelry valuation center, and they said it was worth as a replacement cost of $1500 (that is to have it remade and set) the diamond it'self was worth 500-700 dollars and the white gold(3.51g) was worth no more than 350
I called and spoke to them on the phone about this and they were completely uninterested in coming to some kind of arrangement.
- To the point where they just plain refused to talk to me.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: because the diamond is under 1 Carat they should have paperwork(System of Warranties - and location of origin) to prove it isn't a BLOOD DIAMOND - this is because all diamonds over 1 carat are laser engraved to prove they are not blood diamonds.. They could not provide such documentation.
AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID - YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF.
If they make this right I will update this review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Managed to choose a very personalised bracelet based on NZ specific charms for my wife, (that I neglected to do when we were last in NZ and regretted since) with the help of a locally based family member. Took quite a time to arrange and involved a few trips to the store for her ,but from 12,000 miles away it was pretty efficient and the end result was a triumph. Everything is slow right now and delays to shipping etc. unavoidable but the staff at Silvermoon were fantastic and went out of their way to help, particularly Leanne and initially Manisha. All turned out well in the end and very grateful to everyone for a great service.
