Nicol Renovations Ltd offers a 12 month defect warranty as per guidelines put in place by Department Of Building and Housing New Zealand, on 1st of January 2015 .

Nicol Renovations Ltd will supply both the owner/client and the Council with a written Record Of Works document at the completion of all building and renovation works.

Nicol Renovations Ltd will supply the owner / client with all necessary Producer Statements from all sub-contractors and suppliers on all of their building or renovation projects.

Nicol Renovations Ltd will not be held liable for structural failure due to design and specifications supplied by architects or engineers. Nicol Renovations Ltd is bound to build to design and specifications supplied by the designers; therefore the liability shall lie with the architects and engineers that have designed it, and in the case of any structural failure, will have all responsibility to make good any fault.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently concluded a 10 week renovation project of 6 spaces (bathroom/ensuites/toilet/laundry/foyer) with Rod Nicol Renovations.
From first contact to final sign off, Rod has been a true pleasure to deal with.
After we pressed go, Rod kept us well informed as to likely start date through various Covid levels and lockdowns.
His quote process was thorough and any variations that arose were warranted, clearly explained and agreed to before proceeding.
Rod’s own experience and knowledge are excellent and he was able to clearly explain to us the best approaches for all aspects of our work, taking into consideration current building code requirements.
It made the project so much smoother from our end that Rod managed all aspects of it, bringing in top rate subcontractors – plumber, electrician, tiler - that he vouched for.
The project ran exactly to schedule, even slightly ahead at some points, and the team was very accommodating in allowing us to work around a family wedding towards the end of the job.
We are really pleased with the quality of the workmanship provided by Rod and his subcontractors and highly recommend Rod Nicol Renovations.

Rod was quick to respond, provide a quote and worked thru multiple kitchen designs with us before we settled on our final layout. Rods team worked quickly and provided high quality work. A few challenges were found during demolition - not that surprising considering our place is over 50 years old! Rod communicated clearly what work needed to be done and what the extra charges would be for this. All trades people were on time and followed covid protocol. Our job was completed 6 days ahead of the original schedule despite the extra work required and was within budget. Rod called me every couple of days to provide a progress update and keep me informed of the next stage. I would recommend Nicol Renovations without hesitation.
