★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This morning (12 Aug., 2020) I walked into Skechers on Cuba Street. My feet were sore from a long walk I had just done, and I was delighted to see a Skecher’s shop - I guess it is new? I walked in, as a serious buyer, looking for good quality walking shoes. First, though, I looked for the QR code, to sign in. I asked the shop assistant where it was, and she said, “We don’t have one. Weird, eh?”
So, I entered it in manually, then looked up, waiting for her to ask me what I was looking for. Instead, she looked behind me at someone else coming into the shop, and focused on greeting that person. Pretty soon, they went out the back, and I was left standing in an empty shop. I waited a bit, then decided that Skechers were not interested in my business, and walked out.
Three things about this:
1) No QR code
2) Poor / non-existent service
3) Nowhere on their website to contact head office to give my feedback directly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went into this shop today, 30thJuly 2020, looked at and picked up 3 pairs of shoes, looked over at the 2 girls chatting away in the corner, even made eye contact briefly before she looked away.
I was in this shop for about 4 mins and not one of those girls come and ask me if they could help. There was no one else in this shop.
I have never felt more out of place in my life but I feel, I was in the wrong shop, almost like I just didn't fit in.
I'll never buy another pair of sketches again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in on Tuesday morning (22/09/20) and was served by two lovely girls who were both so knowledgeable about Skechers. I had such a lovely experience in the store and will definitely return again, it's so nice to feel welcome in a store like that. 10/10 Skechers Wellington

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed, I took my 4 month old boots back because lumps had appeared in the heel, under the lining. I was told, I wear them too much, I must have gotten them wet and finally they were put on wrong. The manager was very polite and got back to me very quickly with this information. I have now taken the boots to a repair place and they have said the lumps are glue that is heated from wearing them. He said it’s not overly common but it does happen. I have rung the store with an update but they are sticking to their opinion that I wore them too much so it’s my fault. I do, do a lot of walking in the classroom but surely that’s why I wanted comfortable shoes.
