★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have no words to express how wonderful Smart Start is. It is a 10 starts preschool. The philosophy ,teachers, kids and culture of the Montessori are very high in quality. I highly recommend Smart Start to any child.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before I enrolled my daughter to a preschool, I went and visited some schools.. and Smart Start Montessori is the BEST of them all! I remember the first day me and my daughter came to visit this school, Rebecca gave us a tour and my daughter just instantly engaged with the activities, with the children and with the teachers. This was the sign I was looking for. Knowing myself, I only want the best for my daughter and I was confident that she is in safe hands here and will develop her personality well. She has become a confident, independent, well-mannered little girl. Thank you all to the teachers who went extra mile helping and loving my daughter. The place is also well organized and clean. The materials are of the best quality, naturally-made.
If only we're not relocating, my daughter will still stay here. She is so happy and always looking forward to go to school. I couldn't thank you enough for all the things you have done to her. All the best to you! =)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been really happy at Smart Start, both with the kindness and caring of the teachers, and the academic preparation that M has had. My older children went to a basic "kindy," where they all tore around in a pack. I can see the contrast with M-- his ability to concentrate, recognise and write letters, basic counting skills--everything is more advanced and school-ready.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic Montessori preschool which our child thoroughly enjoyed and is sad to leave. Teachers are very supportive but also maintain a good classroom environment and avoid the chaos of many franchise kindy spots. Ratios are lower than most and based on a quiet street with a new playground coming in. Also have a good reading and writing program getting children ready for school and encourage parents' involvement.

We can see the difference in primary school with their social interactions and academic level. Really appreciate the team at Mt Eden for their guidance and the effort they put in. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter has improved so much over her 02 years with Smart Start with the great care and love from all teachers.
I am so thankful to all the teachers for their help to transform Kem from a shy and little baby (when she joined Smart Start at 3 years old and could not speak English much as we are from Vietnam) to become a more confident and caring girl now. Even some tough time during the Covid-19 lockdown, teachers and the principal always kept in touch with parents and children to maintain the continuous learning.
I really believe that the Montessori education encourages the caring and sharing attitudes among children, unlock their inquiring mind and emotional intelligence.
I would strongly recommend Smart Start Montessori to my friends and anyone who is looking for a wonderful preschool for their children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have seen both of our boys thrive at Smart Start Montessori. This sweet school is full of natural light, and the children seem engaged, calm and joyful. Rebecca and all the teachers are welcoming, kind and nurturing, and a great deal of thought and care go into every day. The school attracts a diverse group of students that reflect the diversity of Auckland - a real plus to normalize diversity and acceptance of difference already at this age. Our oldest developed a sense of leadership at Smart Start and was extremely well prepared for writing and reading at school. Our youngest has had the benefit of 'growing up' with Smart Start, feels very at home there and loves his weekly reading packet (phonics poems, two short early readers and flash cards). We are also deeply grateful for Rebecca's admirable stewardship of the school during successive COVID-19 waves. In short, can't recommend Smart Start highly enough!

I am so thankful to all the teachers for their help to transform Srishti to become a more confident and caring girl that she is now. The teachers took it upon themselves by laying emphasis on learning alphabets , numbers and reading skills and preparing her for primary school.
I only regret not enrolling my child earlier .
I would strongly recommend Smart Start Montessori to anyone who is looking for a wonderful preschool for their children.
