★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed in the service we received from Smith City Oamaru zero communication. Do not recommend buying furniture from them unless you get to take it home same day you paid for it, if you don’t goodluck on getting it after that. Excuses are simply not good enough if you have paid for something you would expect delivery as per your conversation with the salesman on the day, I would of preferred to shop locally just a shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to buy a new cellphone and came out with 2 of them. Excellent customer service and care from the sales assistant lady. She was knowledgeable in the products and was able to process our sale quickly. Looking around the shop, all the other sales assistants were busy with other customers. The shop itself is well presented and inviting and very hard to walk out of there with nothing ? The sale prices were excellent, hense why we bought 2 phones instead of 1. Great job Smith's City Oamaru!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As long as you get the right staff member it ok. Don't look to buy the on the shelf products, no other stock, the excuse given was " how can we sell it if it not on the shelf?". I was there to purchase but walked out confused and empty handed. Thankfully when my mother and I went back a day or so later we got a friendly and helpful young man who was far more polite and helpful, and yes I still had to order the purchase but it will be here tomorrow NOT the 2wks the other staff member told me.
Hopefully was just bad day for staff member.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rated 1 as very disappointed, I phoned 4-6 times no one answered. Emailed in the end still no reply. I ended up spending quite a bit of money elsewhere. Never struck this before where you could not get hold of a retailer. Hope they get it resolved
